Came upon this video by sheer accident. I’ve lived in new and old Howard Beach for over 35 years. Got a chuckle at the end when you mentioned the famous boxer. Vito is my husband and was World Champion but didn’t really grow up here. Thanks for the shout out!🙂

I found your channel by hopscotching all over youtube this morning. You are a very intelligent fellow with a great speaking voice and wonderful videos! I am originally a New Yorker but moved nearly 20 years ago to PA....I still think of myself as a New Yorker though my life has completely changed as the people in Rural PA are so very different. When I was in my late 20's I lived in Howard Beach; awe, days gone by...thank you so much for allowing me to relive my younger life!

New Park Pizza, favorite pizza in Queens. Gino's restaurant on the right at 13:37 has pretty good food. I remember eating there way before they expanded to what it looks like now.

Howard Beach.. lived there for 10 years on 158th ave. Used to run to Charles Park do 4 laps and run back home or just hang out and watch the Little leaguers play. Great place to live. Great restaurants on Crossbay Blvd. It’s a must stop for me when I’m in town. Thanks for the memories. 👍🏽

I drove over the walk over bridge a few times ,throughout the hrs there was always a cable or metal bar that prevented cars from going over but every now n then they would yake it down...Brings back a ton of memories .

Wonderful video..i've never visited Howard Beach but always wanted to. I understand there are some great pizza places on Crossbay Blvd..lol I saw hardly anyone walking the streets.. between the attractive homes and dearth of pedestrian traffic, it seems a great place to live. Man, do something about that darn LIFTER NOISE. Hit the lifters with lifter lube, reamm out the oil channels so something called lubricant other wide known as oil gets to the lifters. Or why dont you spring for a full cam and kit like competition cams you'll get a FAR better grind and you'll have QUIET lifters.....please do something before you post again
