Oh wow! ..... our dad played sax / clarinet in dance bands t/o his life till his mid fifties. As kids in the 1950's we grew up with music everywhere the place.Skidding down the sawdust covered dance floor at the showground where the band practiced drove him nuts at times. There was always music in the air at our place with a bg radio on in the Post Office.

You not only perform the musical piece but you feel it through your body. It moves you in more ways than just rhythmically. You follow the traditional bass and melody but i can hear you adding your own embelishments in between (shall i say "improvisation"?) There is something very classical about the way you play it, with jazz in between. I adored your rendition. I wonder if you have ever heard Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald sing this? Thank you kindly for such a lovely performance. Oh and very funny in the end! 😁 as beautiful and romantic as the music is, you also have fun with it, and with yourself at the end.
