They're two different classes there is really no point in comparing the two...one is factory made in bulk using cheaper materials to make it affordable, and one is hand made from A to Z with even each sample of wood being tested for optimal resonance before being used in the build. I documented most of the process in the review video. The tuners themselves are nearly 70% of the price of the older one so again...no comparison Sound and play-ability logically follow which is nice to see....not all custom build instruments are good...that's where the Honolua can come and embaress some luthiers with its quality... The Ken Salomons though is different, it is going to be my concert instrument!

I believe that's D'addario Low G tenor strings set with metal wound 4th string. The Package is blue and is about $13 if I'm not mistaken

This is a low G ukulele. The tabs displayed in the video are exactly the same for a baritone ukulele. If you read standard music notation you'd need a Baritone version. Order the Low G version and send me an email, I can forward you a Baritone version. Again, the tabs and fingerings are exactly the same

That's a low G tuning, same as standard but your 4th string is down an octave
