It's a Wonderful Job Is The Moonlighting Christmas Episode From December 1986 & is a Parody Of The James Stewart Frank Capra Classic Festive Movie It's a Wonderful Life From 1946
It's Christmas and Blue Moon has to work. The staff are not happy. Maddie is also under pressure and says she regrets keeping the agency open. Her guardian angel approaches her and shows her how life would have been if she had done this.

Loved the show...however, when they got together, the sexual tension and biting sarcasm waned. They lost the edge..

They let the tension go on to far then still messed with the audience. They should have done it differently. But that getting together scene was epic. Of course, they had to work around the fact that she was pregnant IRL.

They never actually “got together,” not really. The morning after, Maddie was replaced by a pod person who bore little resemblance to who she’d become over the last two and a half years. The writers didn’t even try to make it work after the consummation. Cybill’s pregnancy threw a wrench in their gears and they chose the wrong path and never made it back home. The worst thing they ever did was reduce their relationship to nothing more than libido. That’s what killed the show because they _were_ so much more than that.
