Citizen Tsuki yomi is also far below 1000$. And with the fact it is radio controlled you never have to adjust the moon phase. Amazing watch.

I have an Orient Sun and moon black dial, its beautiful and keeps great time. Ive been eyeing up the Sugess moonphase with the sparkly moondust dial(like Lange or Piqulique), too, also has a big date display

This is a great list for >$1000. Whilst I didn’t have the budget for JLC, I went with Longines Master Collection Moonphase Chronograph. Absolute beauty in person! Also, what are a the website you use to find out deals on watches? I didn’t take note from one of your past videos 😅

Another option is glycine combat Moonphase. Used oris and ball Moonphases are amazing value too.

Sugess moonphase master is amazing. Tons of them are mechanical but for a little more usually around $50-100 more u can get some that are automatic

Moonphase dial is a complication that i never understood the usecase of aside the flex. Like Day-Date is useful but why do you need to know the moonphase?

It is useful for sailors and fishermen, and also for some special operations forces where their night mission depends how much visibility they need, like most would prefer a new moon whilst using night vision googles, night missions with a full moon might compromise the spec ops unit and be detected
