What you're really saying is they're moreish. I have the 40mm automatic in blue. I find it to be versatile watch that can go with a suit or smart casual attire. The finishing is really good for the price. The movement has a deviation well within COSC. If I wanted to go go for alternatives, I would be looking at the Christopher Ward twelve or the Maurice Lacriox Aikon. Although those options would be at a higher price.

It’s very legible although AR coating would have been nicer. But the real downside is the lack of a ratcheting bezel - I had the same problem of accidentally moving it by just brushing it against my jacket or trouser pocket.

i love nato straps. i have one on my casio f91w and i have one coming in for my casio pro trek PRW2500R-1 which my father passed down to me. they’re pretty comfortable and practical and fit the rugged aesthetic of my favorite watches perfectly.

i got gifted a hugo boss grand prix for graduating as my first watch. its a little big as my family expected me to gain weight as i got older which didnt happen. a student should get something thats all purpose like a timex or a basic seiko. you need to figure out what you even like and something sized correctly more so than following suggestions of specific models

I thought about getting the Hamilton panda for so long, until I tried it on at a dealership. It’s a great width, but it’s such a thick boy it looks silly on your wrist. Went with the Mido Multifort Patrimony instead.

For me the mechanical version just isn't worth the extra CHF 320. The quartz version is great value, you get the same case, the same amazing bracelet, same crystal and same design all for less than half the price.
