When people say, "[group] has great songs, no-skip discography", let's also not forget that it isn't just the performers, but also these people who got to share their inspirations, ideas, and process. Thank you for allowing us to get to know more about them!

code instantly made me feel like i was on a 007 mission. makes me want to listen to it at night, in a fast car, with lights & cars zooming past. it’s really cool to think that they transformed such visual inspirations into something sonical. i love the melody too, it’s always on repeat

It's quite funny but I think Taemin mentioned CODE is his favorite song, but now, after thinking about it, it shouldn't surprise me because everyone has had a part in both SuperM, SHINee and his solo songs. I wonder if they will create something for the future together Thank you Moonshine, Adrian, and Umu!

I've been holding these tiny behind the kpop events in a SHINee discord server and a lot of my research comes directly from these interviews, tysm for providing a platform for these creators to share more about their work and making it accessible to all! My first event was around Adrian McKinnon and I just regurgitated fun facts from your interview with him in '19/'20 😂😂 Idols are great but the work behind the scenes can go under-appreciated. I have LDN Noise, Tay Jasper, Kenzie, YYJ, and ofc Moonshine events lined up soon!

Code is such a good song, and I enjoyed hearing them talk about the creative process behind it! The fact that NES music was one of the sources of inspiration for the song makes me think that it was inevitable that I'd end up loving that song as much as I did, since I grew up during the NES era. Great questions all around!

TYSM UMU FOR THESE INTERVIEWS ❤❤ Code feels like overflowing champagne + tron legacy in slow mo, loved hearing them break down gimme gimme and earthquake - there's always something new to notice and appreciate, and it's just really cool to learn about Moonshine's process/approach to all their amazing work! You can totally tell their music is made for performance and it pays off. Part one of this interview gave me a whole new appreciation of Hello Future and really excited to keep seeing this channel grow and learning more about what goes behind our favorite music. Here's to more happy accidents and weird percussions! Questions for Adrian: What's it like working with kenzie? Is it just nonstop genius synergy or does it work bc they challenge each other musically? Everything, literally everything, about IDEA. how did the song come to be? were the plato tie ins in the lyrics his idea or added by the korean lyricists? what inspired the instrumental first chorus then the insane vocal hooks in the second chorus? did adrian compose the rearranged version of the final chorus that taemin performed at the ringtone and ngda beyond live? How do you approach more rnb leaning tracks like Baekhyun's Bambi and esp WayV's Miracle? Is there anything you're more mindful of since the tracks are less busy than typical 4th gen kpop title songs, whether while writing the melody or considering the possible performing artist? Key's Bad Love!! The outro!! What was the inspiration for the track, did you know the track was for Key, do you like working on the retro pop synth (?) sound and would do want to do more tracks like it moving forward? Favorite songs, in or outside of kpop, from 2021? Any artists you're keeping an eye on? Thank you so much again, Umu and team!

Hi can you react to Nu'est last title track "Again" or their full album Needle and Bubble? They disbanded on 14th march and released a song on 15th which is their tenth anniversary(this album is supposed to be anniversary album but their company did them dirty and disbanded them with 2 weeks notice). I wish you will react to them for the last time for nuest fans . Thank you ❤️
