I met them last week in Switzerland. I had a VIP pass to meet the band before the concert, they invited me to go backstage with them. Fernando served me a coffee, and we stayed there talking for about 40 minutes. These guys, despite having a super busy tour schedule with five concerts a week, took the time to meet a fan, to get to know who I was and where I came from. In the end, Fernando took me around to check out the venue, introduced me to the other bands they were playing with, and even showed me the bus they were touring in. I was a bit nervous and could barely string together a complete sentence. They’ve been my favorite band since I was 15, and now, nearly three decades later at 43, they’ve become my son’s favorite band too-he’s only 8.

I got to meet Moonspell on their very first Tour to the US, I got to meet them in Detroit, MI at I-Rock Nightclub! I will never ever forget this night! I had already had the band logo tattooed on my calf, but I got to meet the band and they signed my leg around the band logo and the next day I went and had their names tattoo'd as well!! I will NEVER ever forget this night, I had SUCH a good time with them!!
