The Dutch have the highest level of English of any European country. They're an impressive bunch with something very high like 80% or more with fluent English :-)

Thats literally the biggest lie of all times. I am dutch and my gf is swiss. I told her, no worries here in holland everyone is perfect in english. WRONG. We see doctors dentist teachers; all super bad and have to be helped by us to speak english. ​@@HitchcockTheSnail

@@roybrolsbeak I've spent more times in Holland than any other European country and the vast majority speak English very well. Holland has the most people who can speak English, in fact, you're famous for it and you're proving my point with your perfectly constructed sentences. I'm not sure why you're negative about your country but the fact is, English is well-spoken by a lot of the Dutch! What a strange hill you want to die on. Go get pissy at something political that actually matters. Exhausting!

I added a smiley face to my original to reply to the OP because whenever I visit Holland, I'm always v impressed. It's not a lie and b) I've just looked it up and guess what, the Dutch actually have the highest proficiency of English in the world! You then decide to prove my point that your gf will be fine Holland even though she doesn't speak English which showed you assumed most people would speak English illustrating the fact the the Dutch are better than other countries at speaking the language. I'm in hysterics! You then capitalise the word 'wrong' which shows you're the one being 'hostile'. Fascinating that you had to reply to me replying to the OP and through a hissy fit about Holland speaking a decent level of English even though the OP was remarking on the concert goers singing along.
