I love the sound of this track. I think every country deserves one race but it shouldn't be two in a country that prefers NASCAR and Indycar. Most countries are unbelieveably lucky to have one GP no matter how passionate they are!

Driving in COTA in an F1 car while it was just dirt would be a riot to do.

If you look at the map, north New Jersey is technically a borough of NYC. It's ok though, we all want the F1 circuit in the NY Metropolitan Area.

Part of me wouldn't mind seeing a F1 car ride in dirt, like Tony Stewart's Prelude to the Dream race. I think that would be mega intriguing.

Yeah. F1 is British. But it was organized and is owned by the FIA, which is French. The biggest race of the year is in Monaco. 18/19 races this year are in countries outside of the UK. Races stretch from Melbourne to Valencia and from Montreal to Abu Dhabi. Formula 1 is a GLOBAL sport.

If we've had 77 grand prix's here in Australia I'm sure there'd be a pretty decent reception for F1 in the US too. Much shorter distance

New Jersey. Not New York City. It's on the other side of the river.

The fuck there isn't interest in Formula one in America. I live over 1000 miles away from this track, and I will damn sure be at this race in November.

This "thought" that F1 isn't popular in the US is bullshit. NASCAR may get more TV time, but anyone who knows a thing about true, pure racing. Man and machine, knows that Formula One is far and away the better sport. F1 is not a mainstay in the US because of geography only, the logistics of getting every team here for races every year is just too big of an expense for F1 and the teams that's the truth. If they did race here every year, it would become a lot bigger.
