I'm very glad someone pointed the comments about the specs... guys, the country of manufacturer does not affect the quality, the specs are not that important, just enjoy this great guitar, it's not supposed to be worse or better...it just has a friendly price so its worth every penny imo..the guitar is a guitar..play it, enjoy it, stop complaing about where is made, and specs...Paul knows what he is creating..he knows the best how a guitar should feel , sound and play...

Cort have been making guitars for years, if they don't know what they are doing by now, then they never will. Paul would not allow Cort to make ALL of their SE guitars if they were not up to scratch. World Musical Instruments Korea made them for years and did a fantastic job, moving production to Cort means there's no gamble taken, because they know how to make great guitars at a great price point, because it's been their business for decades.

Steve Smithers does the neck, fret work, and action feel as nice as a core?
@stevesmithers79014 жыл бұрын
Dakota Morgan its close. The fret ends are not quite as rounded and polished, the fretboard needed to be oiled. It was very dry. The frets are very level and i have set my action low. I have not needed to adjust/ relieve the neck for my low action. No buzzing or fretting out. I am extremely happy that i can use this for gigs dependably and get the sounds i need without bringing a super expensive guitar.

A really great recording tool as if you pan hard right left with two inputs you got a nice acoustic tucked under a crunch, next one. $1495 is steep but better than $5000 core

At 8:38 in your video you blended the piezo with the electric guitar sound by turning up the volume controll for the piezo side. I notice though, you had two separate inputs plugged in. Would it not only blend together if you had it plugged solely into the MIX/PIEZO input jack only? Wouldn't the two input jacks separate the blend?

@davidarmstrong79034 жыл бұрын
I like that you were playing some jazz licks at the beginning of the video. I have an early 1980s ES-335, but I’m not bonding well with it for chord melody fingerstyle on jazz standards. Is this hollowbody up to that task in your opinion? Especially with barre chords on the lower frets?
@dogrocketp18074 жыл бұрын
I have and used to play big box jazz guitars. This is an amazing guitar, don’t even factor in the price. This goes from straight up jazz sounds to some very tasty Larry Carlton to piezo sounds. It has a great neck, excellent intonation, and I even like the colors! My blue one is an absolute keeper. I put SE locking tuners and locking studs on it. Done, and happy.

In the world of electric hollowbody and semi hollow. Laminate top is the way to go. The best ones are laminate. Solid top has too much feedback.

Which amp would You recommend for this guitar?
@MooreMusicGuitars4 жыл бұрын
To get the best of everything it offers, I'd recommend 2 amps, or a D.I to the FOH for the piezo output. An acoustic amp or something like a Jazz Chorus really shows off the piezo, too. The electric side would depend on your style, obviously, but a medium-gain cathode biased amp like a smaller Tweed, a Delta Blues, AC30 would be what I'd gravitate toward for a great blues sound. The magnetic pickups also sounds great with a high gain. high headroom amp. Getting that piezo sound to the audience would be what I'd concentrate on.

China right? Sounds good though. What got in Paul's head? The Chinese people who made that guitar don't make jack from their labor. He could have let the Philippines do it or Indonesia. IF not , why not? I liked the jazz sound produced by the guitar and amp you used. What was the amp?

I was using the Line 6 Helix' Roland Jazz Chorus model with a 4 X 12 25w Celestion cab IR.
@萩原順子-l6c3 жыл бұрын
There are some people who defeat this guitar because of made in China. But this is nice guitar for a price. Made in China things are all around you. I know some of them are rubbish. On the other hand, they have improved skills of crafting electric devices. In the past, I didn't want a Chine made, but I don't mind now.
