I'm almost convinced Mihoyo has forgotten about that Allogenes line from Venti. The only reason you would have a line like that spoken this early in the story would be if it was going to also become relevant early. But I'd consider having gone through 3/7 Archon Quests a bit late for the first one to mention it.

It will come back again almost guaranteed. Allogenes is a weird translation because in Chinese/Japanese they use Yuanshen/Genshin, the name of the game itself

Allogenes means vision holder, and I think they're just avoiding using that term now because of how confusing it is. Ultimately, the lore bomb about every vision holder being capable of becoming an archon is probably going to be related to the ending of the plot when we eventually go to celestia

Anyway, Venti didn't say that Vision Holder and Allogene mean the same thing, just that all vision holders can ascend and people who can ascend are called Allogenes. However, since the Archons we know so far aren't vision wielders, this means that not all allogenes are vision holders. It's like squares and rectangles, all vision holders are allogenes, but not all allogenes are vision holders

The puzzles are the dialogue choices. You fought the cincin mage because you made the wrong dialogue choices but didn't fight the mitachurl because you made the right choices

The allogenes line isn't just left alone - we already know of two people who did in fact ascend to godhood that way Do we know a lot about how visions connect gods and humans? Not really, but considering quests recently liked to focus on visions, ambitions and dreams I'd say it's more than likely we'll get some sort of explanation in the nation of wisdom itself

There are loads of hints that Ningguang is destined to be an archon (though whether archons will still be a thing by the end is questionable). She even has a goetic daemon name (she's also called Phoenix (Phenex)) and gradient hair (which is almost exclusive to archons).

10:30 even weirder was the choice of wording; in the original CN voicelines, Venti says 原神 (genshin), which is the only mention of it as far as I know, so why wouldn't they say Genshin in the EN voicelines, it would make more sense for English players imo, so the name of the game has more meaning

It's so mixed up. It's spoken "genshin" in Japanese, but in the RU subtitles it is translated, for example. Basically it's a pure luck if you get it or not depending on your audio and subtitle setting.

Allogene is the English version of Genshin/Yuanshen. There's a huge basis on Gnosticism with this game so the English localization team rolled with it. There are many terms that aren't the same and it has caused issues for people. For example Archon and god are the same thing in this game but you have many people who still think Archon is a god with a Gnosis. But in terms of allogenes there is actually a lore basis for it which works better for English than if they just said Genshin which doesn't mean anything in English.

Hey Moosashi always a fan of this series. And I agree that it's great to look back at the quests we've already experienced. It really helps with better understanding the lore. To that point Venti's line has been brought up in this game in a big way. The concept of the allogene is a major factor in how this story will go and in terms of the exact thing he says here we actually do have an allogene turned Archon. While it is never outright stated you can easily figure out that Ei and Makoto the twin Raiden Shogun became Archons by ascending as allogenes. In fact we even know who they replaced but to figure that out you'd have to look into real world Japanese history and also religious hierarchy. Mihoyo's done a crazy intense job developing the lore for this game.

Also I'm wondering if breaking the boundaries of the game might let you sneak a peak at what the rest of the map looks like as of right now. It could hint us towards where the other regions are planned to be. Not sure if that would be in Traveler-san's plans one day but it could be fun.

I've also got a bridging theory relating to Fischl that could benefit from any additional data. And in regards to my last suggestion it might be a funny intro to Traveler-san's next episode to "go to Sumeru" when there isn't a Sumeru to go to yet. Travel the undeveloped landscape until you run out of collision or something haha. And if they already had a mock-up tree city there bonus!
