Personally i have never been a big fan of hunting but when i moved to rural Texas i was introduced to the Hog. Now i like hunting.

Yeah because hogs are a pest and are really damaging. However you really have to go out of your way to hunt a moose. What a disgrace, honestly. Why don’t they go hunting for bears or cougars instead of killing this lovely majestic beast.

I came here after binge watching The Last Alaskans. If they eat the moose, then fine. In fact, every pound of wild meat eaten reduces demand for industrially raised and slaughtered protein. From that perspective, the hunters are more humane and more environmentally sound consumers than those of us who go get beef or chicken at the grocery store or eat out at a restaurant.

most of them kill because they like it. I can't judge because I eat meat myself, but for some reason i want to take their weapons and beat the shit out of anyone who enjoy killing an animal.
@TinfoilHatWearer8 жыл бұрын
staslig agreed.... I dont agree with hunting unless they are doing SOMETHING with the meat.. they need to either eat it themselves, or give it away to someone who wants or NEEDS it. Because I do understand the thrill of the HUNT,... but the act of KILLING another creature and enjoying it is deplorable. The act of HUNTING down a creature, and getting the best of that creature in its own habitat is wonderful and fulfilling.
@Karanar8 жыл бұрын
Bewildering Truth Seeker I am sure they eat it, sell it or give it away and I am sure they are congratulating them selves on how good people they are because of it. And even though I would much rather eat meat from a hunt than from factory farms and if I could eat meat from my own hunt it would be even better, since I hate factory farms even more than hunters. I am a hypocrite and I know it, but people who enjoy killing animals have a serious flaw in their personality.
@Holycow84988 жыл бұрын
lack of empathy is the sign of a psychopathy if they do not eat it or donate to people who could use the food its a waste but also since my dad has hunted the bigger the animal the worse it tastes so why take a big trophy animal
@berniew56188 жыл бұрын
You guys do realize if you kill big game and do not eat it in most states it's highly illegal right? Wanted waste I think it's called. Anyone who does that is a poacher. One way or another the meat is used. They take it themselves or donate it.
@Ulvmannsskjebne4 жыл бұрын
It's quite stupid to see people being against hunters and killing an animal, yet these people who complain are eating the flesh of a dead animal and are against the killing of it? Just because they didn't witness the death of the animal and all the meat already being prepared for comsumption doesn't give them a moral justification to claim that this kind of lifestyle is bad and shouldn't be encouraged. Go back in time not even 100 years and see how people fed their families.

nice hunt and good shot. Pity though that the mainstream pattern of "rock" music and high fives ruins it
@Steadfastly75 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. If I want to listen to rock, I will watch a music video. Many people making these videos just don't get it. I guess that's why they are amateurs.
@ktlm1005 жыл бұрын
@@Steadfastly7 - guess it is done as it "seems cool" and "everyone is doing it" so all such videos look the same. I am hunting myself andf I completly understand the joy of geting your "prey" after all that effort and time put into it - it is NOT easy (for the ones that think a rifle and a scope does all the wonders...). It is however about how we express that joy in a respectfull manner towards the fallen animal and towards the hunt in itself. Rock'n roll and high fives are - in my view - trivialising the hunting and makes us all look bad in the (already agrevated) eyes of anti-hunting groups.
