An open cup of beer buried next to your plants will attract slugs into them and they'll drownd. If it's small enough dogs probably won't get to it, and even if they do it's just a little beer non alcoholic beer would probably work too.

From Canada, can say Moose are scary asf all the time. Hit one in a medium/small sized vehicle you're dead. Catch an angry mother on a trail most likely dead. I'd rather a Grizzly, yeah it will really suck but a Griz will back off, Moose don't.

There is a video going around facebook in Canada right now of a Lynx taking down a mule deer by itself about 2 hours from where i live. It takes a kick to the face and then just lunges for the deers face and neck and clings to it and the deer just walks in circles trying to shake it off until the video ends and then in the comments section there is a picture of the deer dead and the little lynx sitting beside it almost like it is posing for a hunting photo lol facebook.com/781055685565947/posts/1108140776190768/?sfnsn=mo&d=n&vh=e

No way in hell hunter/gatherer Humans wiped out the North American Megafauna. Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis makes the most sense to me. Massive comet impact in the Canadian ice sheet and wiped out most of the Megafauna. Hell, a ton of the Mammoths that are excavated have shattered knees and there's fields of them like this, leads me to believe they got knocked down by the supposed blast.
