Hey, man. Just wanted to say that I think you're probably the best armored core content creator out there. You seem like a genuinely fun guy to play with. You're not putting yourself with things like "shotgun god" or "this is THE anti meta build". You just put together something that seems fun and show the ups and downs of the build while not really stressing if it's not "the best most op build ever to win ranked." The Attache's biggest issue is how low the ideal range is, it makes it you need to stay too clos to tanks to make it work as a consistent damage tool

The Attaché in general sucks, it’s trying to be a “jack of all trades” weapon in terms of range and damage, but the weight is too high and the damage/impact doesn’t burst as fast as the current meta favorites Vientos and Zimmermans. It definitely needs a buff, I’d say lower the weight and increase the impact.

Yeah of the Attache is my favorite of the new weapons. It feels good to use in my humble opinion. Could use more effective range but I find myself getting really close to enemies regardless so I don't really notice it so it's kinda moot in my eyes. A detail I kinda like is the "reload" animation. Seems silly on the surface but the way I interpret it (and the way it's seemingly implied) is that the drum on top of it holds the entire 920 munition stock and they replace the barrel because the heat stress of slinging all that high power ordinance causes the barrel to fall apart, even if it's not visualized in game, they solve the problem by just replacing the barrel periodically. Less of a reload and more of an alternative form of cooldown. If anything needs a buff it's the Shao-Wei. The firing cycle is *WAY to short* for it's own good. It needs one of two things less heat build up for a longer firing cycle *OR* higher damage per shot to make the short bursts more worth it. One or the other not both, it would be too overpowered if it got both.

Yeah I love it! Plus yeah the most unique reload in the game lol. As for the Shao-Wei it should get alot less heat build up and a little more weight. I mean the whole point of the spinning barrels is so it doesn't over heat cause of the multiple barrels lol.

tried this out today, made a few adjustments since i think theres a few better options for this: swapped the head for the scan head, because fuck stun guns swapped the arms for tian lao, more AP, better and recoil control while only sacrificing a bit of firearm spec swapped the legs for the snail legs, more ap and better load capacity for the rest of the adjustments instead of running the missiles you ran, i chose to use one soup and one mlt10, the soup helps hunt lamms and the gives you a missile that doesnt suck at close range (since the soup does) went with the NGI booster and NGI generator since this plays more like a kite build, touching the ground as much as you have to with san tai can be rough, especially in matchups where youre dealing with cqc

This build would be better with the Hokushi gen. Your energy regen efficiency is in the dumpster because you're straddling the cap of the San Tai. Plus the Hokushi only has 500 or so less capacity for far improved regen.

Love to see the heavy machine guns being used but sadly the weapon is pretty bad, looking at your footage is like the missiles did 80% of stagger(unless in shotgun range)

@@Mordalon Both explosive and kinetic damage can generate a lot of stagger, but if you watch closely on moose's video you will realize most of the shots from his machine guns simply can't hit the target at their "intended" ideal range because of low bullet speed

You know what this game needs? Sticky bombs with proximity detonation. Why you ask? So lightweights can pepper them onto heavies to deter them from moving like they do. These heavies have no business going over 250.....ever.

@Mordalon exactly! Big machines like that have no business going the same speed as lighter ones. When heavies and mids can go the same speed there is an issue. Heavies should be slow, they have the defenses to compensate. The higher your defenses the slower you should be.

Yeah reloading the barrel is kinda silly, though I like the idea behind it. That drum on top holds all of the 920 rounds in it, as you shoot rapidly it's implied that the barrel starts to fall apart from the heat stress of all the high power ordinance traveling through it. The solution? Replace the barrel periodically, problem solved. Doesn't make a lot of sense if you're feathering the trigger instead of sustaining fire but, ya know, game logic. I believe there's a real world gun that followed this logic? One of those German heavy machine guns like the MG42 or something? Idk I'd have to do a little research.
