The song was the intro to my freshman year marching band show…. That was a decade ago. I picked up my flute for the first time in years tonight and I still had this burned into my brain, remembered every note. Now I’m crying. So beautiful. I always loved it and only just a few minutes ago did I discover this was the actual song title and was able to properly listen to it.

hearts tell you where you should allocate your time/energy; but society just rips that from us; and it really is a painful thing for me to witness the "lack" of heart in the world... i don't ever feel i can be as close to others as they feel they "are required" to be with me...
