I did the same thing in my old plymouth volar'e 318 4 barrel headmen headers. but I ran collectors with 3" x 6 " chrome turn downs ! lol shook the shop windows at the mall I drove around and got thumbs up from people . some guy asked if I had a 440 in it lol

thank you for your information i was told to go with the holly 600cfm 4bbl carburetor is that a good one for the 318 i was all so told go with the single plan intake it mixes the air fuel the best is this true i want the best performance intake and carburetor for my 318 it's a 93 magnum i bleave the compression is 9.1 is that ok on the compression

Compression is ok for a street motor ya, depends on your setup,u will loose low end power and gain it up top,if u dont have the heads and cam to support a single plane the dual plane will be a better option for u

What kind of gears are you running? 4.56s? My first ride was a 77 d150 custom. Heavy duty half with a 318 727. I think it had either 3.23s or 3.55s. It would do about 45 in first before it went into 2nd

The efi on those are not efficient,u will see a power gain from a good carb setup,alot of that gain will come from the intake swap,those drum style intakes do not make any power at rpm
