Thank you man for the shout out! Really enjoyed watching you assemble the engine! The tensioner started with the late 80s 3.9 v6 mopar and is a great addition to a street motor a total bolt in crossover with the v8! And it has the oil dropper to guide the oil on to the chain run them all the the time on the street.

Hi Moparnut, Thank You for all the tips! The tensioner was for sure a tip from you. That's right, now I recall you mentioning the 3.9. Cool! Thanks again for watching buddy!!😁

Good progress brother! I believe they sell a “headache kit” that will have the keys for cam and crank.

Getting there bud 😁 Loved the blooper because as soon you said should use a socket I said it at the same time

😂, thanks! The first one went in so easy I kept trying the second. Should have used a socket from the start, but was being lazy.

Lol. Bloopers are good. You should be able to take the cam key out of your old cam and use it if you still have it.

Hey B Dubs! Thanks😁. Yeah, unfortunately no old cam, but I think I found one online. Usually I can get summit parts pretty quick thankfully. Thanks for watching bud!

Which book are you using for specs?
@DustorBust2 жыл бұрын
Hi Phillip, the factory chassis service manual is my go-to for specs.

Never clean oil galleys after putting bottom end together and never drill into anything on engine after assembly. That is asking for trouble.
