Seems like a nice score. I’d definitely opt for at least a mild cam. Maybe the wide ring gear means a smaller diameter, higher stall torque converter?

First of all I want to say thank you for watching the video and thank you for your comments. As for going with a larger cam I may try to use a 340 cam and as for that torque converter, I've seen those torque converters like that before with the larger diameter ring gear and it did occur to me that it could be a stall converter, but probably not tremendous stall though. But yes it is a good score right now. I am focusing on getting an engine stand so that we can get that engine on a stand and start getting it apart to examine it a little more thoroughly and doing a lot more cleanup and doing also a mild buildup on the engine

As far as the grimy side is concerned, she's already learned a lot about that but she will be learning more she's the one that found this engine and she was helping me check it out too before we bought it we got to go and get an engine stand now and she's already found one of those too and she really seriously enjoys making passes down the track

Her father has taught her to work on her vehicles for years so she is more than capable of working in the grimy side and has even taught others how to maintain their own vehicles, knowing more than her male peers. She will do well while having fun.
