Not a Mopar but my father is the original owner of a 1969 TriPower 435 horse Corvette. I believe it is just slightly over 60,000 miles at this point and still has 95% of it's original -blue- *green* paint. Long story short, he ordered it blue and it arrived green. Chevrolet offered to repaint it or he could wait another few months for them to build him a replacement. He decided to keep it green.

Thanks for sharing the story. Your Father ordered and has a great car. I love hearing stories like this, they are always interesting. It must have been a huge disappointment when it arrived the wrong color. He made the right choice by not having it repainted.

@@ultimatemusclecar I wasn't born yet but I'm sure it was quite a disappointment at the time. The story I hear is he got the call it had arrived. When he got there he looked around the lot first before talking to the salesman. Dad couldn't find his car anywhere. Then when he talked to the salesman he says it's right over there and points at the green one. I can imagine the sinking feeling. Honestly I like the dark green color. It looks more sinister than the bright blue.

I thought all Hemi cars had Dana 60 differentials in them,yet here we are,unrestored factory cars.Shame they were never exported in right hand drve,love a 68-69 Coronet RT or a stroked 340.

Hemi cars with torqueflite automatics came with a 8 3/4 rear but the Dana could be ordered. Hemi 4-speed cars came with the Dana. I also love the Coronet R/T cars.

@@ultimatemusclecar Thankyou very much,excellent answer.I must've miss-heard what was said on Uncle Tony's Garage.I'm in Australia and drive GMH cars.But if I was in the USA,it'd be Mopar only,they had the sexiest shapes and extremely powerful.65 Polara are nice too,or the Polara GTX from Brazil.We made a Valiant out here,very close to a 68-69 Dart.Had the 225 slants too.Shame you never got out Chrysler sixes like the 245 and 265,ball tearers they were.Thankyou again,subscribed.

I have a few Australia cars in my future videos coming up. In the Kickoff video there's a Valiant Pacer 245 car with a straight six and 3 carburetors. It was at the Kick off party Mopar car show. My future A-body video has an Australian Valiant Wayfarer in the video.

@@ultimatemusclecar A Wayfarer,haha,we call them Utes,but you're right,it is the correct name.Those Pacers usually had 225's and later 245's,2 bbl or 4bbl and three speed gearboxes.The way he's set it up is E38 or E49 configuration,depending on gearbox choice,that was our version of a Charger.If I come into really good money,I'll import a Coronet,although I nearly got sold on a Scamp to import after watching this video,that had a stroked 340,it's in my playlists,does 150 mph,but extremely quick to that speed as well.Speed has it's addictive qualities.Looking forward to future videos,take care.

I have a 1970 Chrysler 300 ,440 4 barrel , automatic transmission,4 door hardtop with 37, 714 original miles, car has original FY4 exterior paint with full vinyl top , champagne , gold interior ,has power steering , tilt / telescopic steering, power front disc brakes , power deck lid release , power antenna , radio am / fm 8 track , power front bench seat , power windows , power door locks , has sentinel delay auto dimmer , factory cruise control, cornering lights , fender mounted turn signals . I am the 3 rd owner of this car . My car is for sale ,It is a driver , it is on the road .

Yep, a celebration of mediocrity. Sounds like a nice low milage car but very few want a 4 door boat. Too bad it wasn't a B body
