The bearing size is different on a puch maxi and magnum. The magnum have bigger bearings.

really? Ive never had issues. Maybe I have just gotten lucky and used the first one. My front ends have never had slop.

Are the EBR forks lighter or heavier than stock?
@Corn-ped Жыл бұрын
They are a little heavier, but they are a lot stronger. I think the trade off is well worth it.

Is headset a 1” standard like on old bicycles?
@Corn-ped Жыл бұрын
ehh. they are 26mm so a little more than an inch. Are old bikes actually an inch or slighty over? Are they standard or metric? I am not a huge bike person.

Bicycles use either a 1" (25.4mm) or 1-1/8" (28.575mm) headset. I was able to easily fit a Puch Maxi fork on a beach cruiser with a 25.4mm headset. The cups and bearings are nearly identical, but the threaded race and top nut aren't interchangeable.

Awesome video. I bought 2 sets , and was wondering how east it was going to be to retro fit my old Puchs! Question Where did you source that headlight?
@Corn-ped Жыл бұрын
I got the headlight from Amazon and the headlight bucket from Treatland. I can post some links if you would like.
