I love your videos and this one is really excellent and helpful. However, here is some feedback on describing accents. Tarzan is not a good English word to choose to demonstrate what you want to demonstrate because a native English speaker would give more equal accent and duration to both symbols in that particular word. The way you are pronouncing it is to demonstrate more emphasis on the first syllable and a shorter, pitched down "zan." However, when I say the word, it is more even, like TAR-ZAN, both the same duration with only the pitch of the "Zan" going down, but not shortened the way you shorten it. A better English word to choose that would demonstrate what you want to demonstrate is something like "symbol" or "equal" or "swimming" or "speaking" (or really any "ing" word). Thanks for making your videos!

Pitch accent isn't really too important to get hung up on. Unless you're trying to reach native level. Time input is never wasted as long as you keep on studying. It's only wasted when one gives up.

@@OmniOmnium I am thankful for the inspirational words, I meant this as a joke. I am aware, that these accents are used in certain regions of Japan as well as "no accent" regions. I am indeed trying to learn it on a native level, so far I have learned 平板と小高アクセント I also do study Kanji, Radicals and Grammar.
