I have several Mora knives, but only have the Bushcraft orange. I love the feel and balance of the orange but my God that orange is a bit over the top. I do like stainless in these smaller blades as I live in a wet climate, didn't know before about the Black SRT. I am like you I don't mind serrations and they kept them minimal on this knife. Serrations are nice for starting a cut in something tough, just depends on use, and I have both. So great review and I ordered one.

Never been much of a fan for serrations, But I can definitely see a purpose for them in a tactical type situation. I love the sheath upgrades. Plus if you wear a thin enough belt the Velcro could probably be used for a Scout carry as well, Which I really like. -Keith

Awesome Mora! I mainly use my serrations for cutting cordage and cutting up boxes. I like the new design on the sheath, also when you were at the Mora booth at shot show there was that other sheath, the ones that you chould attach another to it. Are those optional or only for one specific knife?

I was looking at the orange but not crazy about the color. For some reason if I just look at carbon knives they rust especially without a leather sheath. Besides this sheath looks great!

Serrations are great for cutting nylon rope. A good knife should have them like this knife has.

Wow this is an excellent knife but also the sheath is way cool, I just got mine for only $35 and I'm blown away. Why did they not use this sheath system for the Garberg??? Its really cool and also I think you can take the sheath out, its just a plastic button holding it in. If it does come out I may just have to get the plastic sheath for my Garberg and run it with this molle sheath😀 Thanks for your review bro I'm a happy subscriber today.

how much does it cost? in amazon i saw one with a 34.99 price tag and described as Morakniv Bushcraft Black Serrated Knife with 0.125/4.3-Inch Serrated Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade and MOLLE-Compatible Sheath. im just concerned if its legit or not.

Gerard Rosal I will let ya know cause I just ran across this video and seen your comment here. I bought one of um at Amazon and the price is half of what it normally sales for. The account was from a good seller so I hope its the same one. It said Bushcraft black tactical with the molly sheath. The knife looks awesome I couldn't pass up the deal if its the right one LOL.

I would hurry and buy it if its still there cause it got here way quick and I'm totally stoked, this is wicked cool, why they haven't used this sheath for the Black is beyond me. Its so much better than any of their other sheaths and makes me wonder why they didn't do the same with the Garberg???

because they put "tactical" on it, everything with tactical costs more because it's well.. tactical. Hate the serrations, PIA to sharpen, tend to grab instead of cut a item.

hallard069 If you're right handed these serrations pretty much cut like a normal edge. These serrations are perfect for those who want them but don't want the snag Mora put them on the lead side of the edge. Right handers will like these knives, I just got one and the edge makes curls pretty much like a normal edge.

For the life of me I just don't get serrations. On a steak knife I understand it but if it's going to cut something I just don't understand it. All they do is rip and tear they don't cut.

Ken Gray Rope is easier with serrations, but I agree, not to big of a serrations fan.
