This video was essential for me in finally attaining a Long Victory on Very Hard as Morathi and the Dark Elves. After taking the starting province I kept falling into a trap of what seemed like inevitable war with Ostankya. Even if I wiped her out I'd then be bogged down immediately after by the Sisters of Twilight, and stretched too thin financially to mount any sort feasible offensive on Ulthuan. After watching this I changed up my approach, took the starting province, recruited a Black Ark at Grey Rock as quickly as possible, set sail with Morathi's full stack and the Ark full of Dreadspears & Darkshards and bee-lined for Lothern, sacked and occupied, worked like a charm. Waging war on Eataine/Avelorn/Yvresse seemed to satisfy the game's quota for number of factions at war with me, leaving Ostankya to strangely push north and horse shoe all the way around Titan Peaks while she wiped the floor with Clan Gritus instead of attacking me. Meanwhile, the High Elves kept throwing stacks into the meat grinder of the Black Ark + Lothern's garrison, giving me the resources and time to recruit armies and steadily conquer Ulthuan. After I took out Avelorn, Ostankya did eventually attack from Ironspike but at that point I was devouring the last of Ellyrion and then got the satisfaction of crossing back to Arnheim with Morathi and a second stack to dumpster the Hag, claiming all of the Bleak Coast and taking back Titan Peaks in the process. From there the campaign snowballed and I ended up just throwing gold at Hellebron until she agreed to confederate for the Short Victory req. Spent most of the campaign allied with N'Kari, Noctilus and Cylostra, the latter of which ended up occupying the Shrine of Khaine so I didn't even bother going for the sword. Thank you for the guide, don't think I ever would have cracked the code on how to succeed in this campaign without it.

she is a great campain and with the DE getting the juicy slave mechanic buffed them a lot in the hands of the player

I used Clar Karond confed that you got, as well, to just sell two settlements to Malekith to gain a Military Alliance. Only reason, but very worth it.
