So strangely enough there is a Japanese compilation of texts that has been translated to English called the Bansenshukai. Effectively, it's some of the actual historical evidence on feaudal espionage ( trans: How to be a Shinobi for Dummies). In it, one of the best ways to be a shinobi that's undercover is to be a trade worker/ labor worker. Essentially, if Chetney was part if an espionage service employed by Oltgar under the kingdom of Uthedern and masqueraded around as a " toymaker for the noblesse society" or a highly competent Forman carpenter, I will not be surprised.

Chetney is slowly becoming my favorite Travis character. Chet hits a really good balance between being just some goofy, pervy old coot for most part and then just turning into a badass Mini-Lycan, and in both forms he is so damn funny. Travis is doing such good job with this Character, and seeing him have a blast playing the geriatric blood-hunter is such a treat.
@MadamFoogie2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, Chet is my favorite character of campaign 3 thusfar. Travis chose a great comedic voice for him, and he already has a couple neat catchphrases. "Peeping all pervy-like" and "Balls!" Also, I love the little pitter-patter of his feets. I wonder if his disgust for metal is just a personal preference, or if it might be a side effect of lycanthropy?
@Hathur2 жыл бұрын
Definitely. Fjord was meh to me, didn't dislike, didn't have fond affection for him like I did with Grog (probably my favorite character of all their campaigns.. along with scanlan and jester)... but Chetney I absolutely adore, top 3 for sure.

The most common Tumbleweed in the US, Kali tragus, is an invasive species from Russia, got to the US allegedly by their seeds having been mixed in with imported flax seeds. @pyrosianheir2 жыл бұрын
That was so unnecessarily intense, and it was so fun watching everyone just kinda looking back and forth all confused in the moment.
@RaichuWizDom2 жыл бұрын
Some options to consider: -woodworking in Uthodurn comes with an additional skillset, much like the barber-surgeons of old. Chetney's a good crafter (the barber side), but we haven't really seen that other side of the craft yet (the surgeon side). As for what that side is: possibly making handles for weapons, making wands, perhaps? -Oltgar is an actual fiend, one with a Faustian theme to him. He'll share the knowledge of woodworking, but expect a high price in return. Bonus points if he moose antlers instead of horns, because Santa's reindeer are almost never portrayed right in American media anyway, why start now, right? -Oltgar made a habit of cursing his toys, thereby robbing children of their souls or instilling nightmares to feed off of their fear. If anyone ever questions him on it, he has apprentices he can blame and set up. Random thoughts, might be viable.
@arthaiser2 жыл бұрын
i like the fiend aproach, but honestly, could be also fun if he is simply a toymaker that moved to metals, and the battle is a craft battle for the best toy
