I found a book in the ‘throw away’ box at a retirement/medical center and from the description it sounded like a murder mystery noir set with a tennis competition in the background. whittle him down. it's kind of like that anime Teasing Master Takagi-san, where there is a moment in an episode in where Takagi tells Nishikata that they maybe changing classes because a new one is being added. He is happy at first he won't get tease anymore but then gets really sad of the idea that she won't be around. So yeah Fjord may get embarrased by teasing and flirting but he would hurt worse if it stopped happening.
