The screenplay was written by the guys who were responsible for scripts of Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter, Gods of Egypt and Power Rangers (2017). No wonder that the Morbius Movie sucks.

I was fairly entertained by the audacity of Sony to release this. Who wrote this? I can tell all the places they removed different scenes. Toomes actually popped up furing the movie when Morbius was in jail,like the trailer. When The meet up scene/post credit was shot after the movie was done. They removed EVERYTHING in it that led to a Spider-man reveal in this world. Tyrese character actually had a fight scene with him. When Morbius gets caught in the wind Tyrese shoots him ,then says "enough". Martina bit him and tastes his blood then he sucks her blood. That's how she turned, not plausible but this is SONY.

Yeah, this movie is pretty awful. Not only terrible but boring as hell. I think I fell asleep twice watching this crap. The post credit scenes has some of the most laziest dialogue ever caught on film. It was as if SONY just threw that scene in at the last minute.

Thanks for the unbiased review. Turning a printing machine into a apheresis machine (as I understood the explanation) is only possible if you can manipulate matter and recreate it, something a person with powers like the Silver Surfer would be capable of. I would not be able to watch a movie that has this as a plot device, beyond that point. Btw, a suggestion of a cool vampire movie would be What we do in the shadows.

I think the spiderman 1990 animated show handled morbius better than sony itself. Morbius though generic could have been executed beautifully, the extensive reshoots and delays for the release adds upto nothing. I enjoyed venom more than this.

I wore a diaper to the Morbius opening night and peed in it 5 times and shit in it 3 times. People laughed, people pointed and laughed. I almost started crying when Jared Leto came into the theater. It was him. He turned into his Morbius form and killed all the bullies and Morb haters in the audience. He then pulled out his Morboobies and said “Come my child, I will comfort and change you” and I suckled the sweet red milk from his Morbteets, and he laid me on the ground and changed my positively filled depends. He carried me out in my arms, me sleeping tenderly in his arms. However, my wallet fell out of my back pocket and he saw that I was, in fact, not a 15 year old, and promptly dropped me on the ground

I just saw it today, and...... I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't horrible. I was going in with small expectations, but came out with..... something, I guess? It felt short and rushed, which was a pretty bad. Like it showed you something as if was supposed to mean something, then it just moves onto the next scene. It definitely wasn't god awful, but wasn't ground breaking like No Way Home. It's just average Superhero/Anti-Hero Film that won't have me rushing back to the theaters to go see it again anytime soon.

I think for the most part, a lot of people are being too hard on Morbous and the Venom movies. Its not that they're good, its that their...all right. They are ONLY all right. There is definitely stuff to not like. Some stuff thats actually decent. Performances are good all around or good enough. Moments that do have that general horror vibe to it. But you are right that all of these Sony MCU films are modeling themselves after comic book movies from the 90s and 2000s. That and combined with Sony not letting these movies go full horror is a sign that the studio is behind on what actually makes good comic book movies. And yea, that post credits scene is BAD. So clearly different from how they showed Keaton in the trailers and clearly scrapped together at the very last possible minute. A clear sign that Sony doesn't plan things out at all which is hurting their own universe.

If you like cringey terrible movies.. there's one that I think rules the majority of them. This falls into the "so bad it's good... kinda" category. It also has unexpected nudity and bedroom scenes which come out of nowhere but are also.. happening. So there's that. It's called Samurai Cop. I don't know if you've reviewed it or even heard of it but by God.. if you want to laugh at terrible filming and dialogue performed by terrible actors with no expression during supposedly important scenes then this is the movie for you. Even the final showdown is so bad it's good.. for a laugh. Samurai Cop. Check it out.

Ok I'm trying to make sense of the end credits scenes, here we go. So after Vulture was sent to prison maybe his wife divorced him because of his crimes. Then he was blipped for 5 years and after coming back he was told about what happened. Since he was in prison when he was blipped he wound up back in there, no chance to get free. So after No Way Home he was sent to another universe without the knowledge of Peter Parker being spiderman. So for all he knows Spiderman is the reason he lost his family and freedom. In another Universe he is now free to do what he wants. As for the wings, maybe he has found other friends before meeting with Morbius. People with the money and brains to build the suit.
