This movie was awful. Terrible writing, nonsense script, horrific editing and pacing, and the cgi was mostly pretty bad, especially that inky trail effect. But I will say tat Jared was far from the worst thing in it, his performance worked well enough for me, I could buy him as Morbius in a better film, and Smith's performance(in a couple scenes) for me was the high point, but he was let down by his characters brain dead motivations and total lack of character building. It looked like what an anti-hero made by an AI would be. Oh, also, I thought the fight scenes had some really cool moments, but again, they were let down by the really stupid vfx and editing, and were also way to short. It was a massive let down, Morbius actually has some great comics and this film just pissed all over them. EDIT: I remembered my favorite scene! its when Morbius takes over the counterfeiting lab, it was short and not incredible, but probably the best segment

Lots of MCU haters like to claim that No Way Home's widely revered quality is more due to Sony's hand on the project rather than Marvel Studios'. its funny to take note of how this film is somehow worse than the amazing spiderman 2, at least according to rotten tomatoes. Second, i didnt like how quick the backstabbing that transpired between milo and morbius after milo took the formula (plus, how did it seem like he had a bit more control over it than Michael did. Third, if toomes had so little screen time and that most of his encounters with michael were fake why did he need to be in the film at all? Also, how would vulture build a new suit? Wasn't his costume in Spider-man made from left over alien tech? Also also, Micheal Keaton's character in those movies was just some blue collar guy, he wasn't a scientist or anything. If memory serves me it was one of his crew that built all his tech, not him.
