I don't know why so many people are complaining about the aluminum handles...it's protech! They are pretty much the front runners in quality aluminum autos and button locks!

I just ordered this knife. I'm so excited to get. Yes it was a hefty price, but I could see this being my edc for the rest of my life. And I'm not in a higher tax bracket. Simply credit card,,,,,☹️

That's how I look at it. You could spend $50 a year on an okay knife, or you can buy a nice one and have it for a lifetime. Also, this knife could potentially become a collectible depending on how many Drop sells. What color combo did you end up getting?

@@GearNut I ordered the gray one, I believe it will hide the scratches and snail trails, and I just like grey. I also read somebody else's opinion, that some of the other designs had quite a few hot spots on them.

I have this knife and like it. For the price of the knife it should be titanium and 20cv like others in that price point. It’s a little expensive cuz 3 companies want a cut off the mordax but not complaining. The drop protech ferrum forge design mordax 😂

It's great they used one of the " holy trinity " blade steels cpm 20cv, cts 204p & m390, they are my favorite blade steels. If you like that knife and the 940 you might like my absolutely favorite EDC blade the knifeworks edition benchmade 810-1401 contego . It's the big brother to the 940 with m390 ,blue and black g10 scales and a 3.9 inch Osborn blade with the axis lock. Best part its only about $185 at knifeworks.com Fun fact I learned from the nice people at benchmade Warren had told them he designed the blade to be able to go through body armor . , what type of warranty comes with the mordax blade?

Thanks for the heads up I will have to check it out. The Mordax has a limited lifetime warranty.

@@brandonw465 just went and read their warranty policy. It says all returns to be considered for warranty must include $15 for return shipping and handling. In my opinion that's a deal breaker. No other knife company I know of tries to extort money to provide service on a lifetime guarantee. This tells me they don't care about their customers. I appreciate your review and response but personally I would never tolerate that type of policy from a company and would never buy their products.

@@clayb.6077 considering you like benchmade your opinion doesn't mean much. Only ever seen 2 people having to use protechs warranty and 1 was because he took his knife apart and couldn't put it back together. Once you get a protech in your hands you instantly understand what theyre about. Keep supporting a company that donates to Democrats and cut up guns. 2 protechs and a mordax on the way love both of them.

If you spend 240 dollars for a pocket knife , we're clearly not in the same tax bracket !
