Been watching through all your Bolt Action battle reports over the last couple weeks of holiday :) Thanks for the content! I really like the lengthy after-game discussion of how you felt about the mission. I do miss getting to see more of the mid-turn rolls though - hopefully some of that comes back at some point in the future :)

BANZAI !!! I think it was a pretty fore gone conclusion from the start. To be honest , casual is well and good but for instance the tiger and king tiger are punishingly over expensive. They need some real point looks at some of the choices. I just imagine some choices are near auto loss every time , like the king tiger.

**Looks up from building Jagdtiger** Wait, what? Jokes aside- It really hurts me to admit it, but you are 100% right. I would say that anything above the Panther really handicaps the rest of the list. And that is (probably) being generous- most people I've spoken to at events who play Germans would say that anything over the cost of a Pz.IV H is a fat waste of points, and taxes the rest of your army irrecoverably heavily... However, that said- I did take a King Tiger list to a 1000pts event last year and went 2 & 1. HOWEVER (pt. II), this was more due to the rest of my list doing v.well, which made up for the King Tiger's performance being mediocre (at best).

Yeah that is my issue with it , I love the big tanks but man they just feel bad to field as you need to sweat the rest of your units so hard. There has to be a middle ground of not making them auto include but not need luck of blessed to win with.

Thanks for another enjoyable batrep. FYI, Charlemagne S.S. units have the No Way Out rule which gives them the Fanatics rule even when there is only one man left. Additionally, they automatically pass Morale tests when assaulted by tanks.

Hi there, you're able to follow what units you can take from the Warlord Games Bolt Action: Road to Berlin Narrative book in this scenario. There wasn't a specific list they took in this batrep but rather as a fun campaign they played to reenact the Battle of Berlin! :) Happy New Year conscript! o7
