@Aro2220 In Mordor the maps are fixed, but in Castle of the Winds each level of the dungeon is randomly generated the first time you enter. Both are essentially grinding games, but Castle of the Winds actually has an ending and can be won. Mordor does have a lowest dungeon level but there isn't really any ending to the game, other than maybe defeating the toughest enemy, which you can do more than once.

If you made Mordor again today, what would you change?

very calming. I'm still surprised by the lack of mention of the newest mordor (demise) on these uploads. If you grew up with mordor like me you should definitely check it out

Yeah it was a lot of fun but doesn't really have much of a plot. It's this randomly generated dungeon and there's tons to it. If you die you can get found by a party later on and resurrected. When you level up you can choose different trainers that level you differently. There are a ton of items and monsters, traps, etc. It's a fun grind considering there are very little graphics. Another game sort of like this was called Castles of the Winds. But Mordor is way more endless and deep.
