You can jiggle the seal with a paper clip. I had some that wouldn’t break in my set too. It fixed it no problem.

ALSO if you liked the way the crow turned out and wanted to experiment with birds that are actually iridescent, may i suggest grackles :0c

Yoooo I LOVE HOW ALL THE BIRDS AND PLANTS TURNED OUT! as always I’m in awe of how u use paint pens and choose colours that just go so amazing together 🔥🧡 P.S. I’m so glad u like my bird and plant suggestion and I love how a lot of us wanted to see a Venus Fly Trap (they look so cute in your style) 😂

the plants tied the piece together well, I think! I like how cute they look in the corners behind the birds. It's like it's somebody's chaotic garden that the birds like to chill in lol it's very pretty

I have this set, bought it after watching another youtuber use them. One thing I was disappointed with is there isn't a light blue. One time there was zero paint coming out of the end... I realized the little ball that is the mixer had gotten stuck in the nib entrance. I banged the marker hard on the table and it came loose, shook up the pen again, then pressed the button end before I tilted it down to get paint flowing without the ball getting in there first. Worked well. Otherwise the paint eventually does flow nicely and having the chiseled tip was nice for fine lines. Only acrylic pens I have tried so far and I do like them but find I am limited. Maybe a larger set for more colors would be best. I still prefer to use paint and brushes as mixing paint for more color variety is extremely difficult with the markers. I must say that the gold and silver are really beautiful and has that sparkle sheen when dry.

You're right, it's strange that there's no light blue, the closest is a light-ish teal but I think I'd prefer a light blue. That sucks that the ball got stuck on yours, I'm wondering maybe that's why mine are having a hard time saturating the nib completely. Honestly the design of these pens feels a little... odd, maybe unpolished.

this is so cute ! youve inspired me to paint birds today :) its not something I usually draw (I spent like 4 days drawing a bleeding heart dove with bleeding heart flowers in march and never wanted to draw a bird again) btw id love if your videos were a bit longer , i like to draw along with you but I end up having to click new videos a bit too often . honestly if the drawing parts were just sped up a little bit less or there were more parts done in real time to make the videos less fast paced would be great !

i got these as my first sort of arrtx simptap markers, and they are wildly limited, though they can be used for simplicity, and I LOVE the way you incorporate them! AND ALSO. seems like too similar colors were given, the black paint marker seemed to dry out far too easily /: or not be as pigmented.

I agree, J381 and J374 are far too similar for how limited the colours are, and I've found the same issue with my black too since filming this.

Beautifully done! I love your birds! Have you heard of Wallace and Gromit? The film "The Wrong Trousers"... the bad guy in the film, they put a poster out with caption "Have you seen this chicken?" But it is a penguin with a red rubber glove on his head! LOL Something silly you might like to draw.

Hello! Don’t mean to be an annoyance but what type of sketchbook do you use? It looks like really good paper and your art was amazing! I liked the crow, wisteria and lily of the valley the most but they were all amazing!

I love how the page turned out! About the pens: do you think it'll work if you press them against a table or something and then let the paint flow down? Or it won't work if you pump them upside-down?

Thank you! Um I'm not really sure, it might work but if you mean after breaking the seal then probably not. Pumping it I think releases the paint so that it can be absorbed into the nib so I don't know that it would work upside down.
