What are your thoughts on this plugin? Would you like to see more amp-sims with unique amps?

ML sound labs is the hero we need. Something great and isn't $150

ML Sound Lab amp sims are so good ! They really focus on the natural tone of the amp instead of the ultra processed tones you get with other brands.

dude…. and I bet that hiwatt would KILL as a parallel bass guitar amp. snap. I already use your plexi for that lemmy bass grind in parallel but daaaaaang. Well done, Mikko and crew.

My wishlist for ML Sound Lab would be the addition of post processing, including a solid EQ.

At this point, I think I would prefer Mikko to release a master plugin that works like the one by Mercuriall and that he adds more pedals. Black Sabbath is known to use a modded Rangemaster and Pink Floyd various pedals... including Big Muff, all of this is absent. Plus a master plugin would allow us to mix and match parts and get new updates on all plugins at once (hopefully).

🔥🔥🔥 Awesome plugin!!! It's exactly what I really waited for. Demo song just 🔥

Yeah we need more regular amps, plugins always cater to high gain and thats a shame. Coming from a metal guy btw

My issue is that you make everything sound amazing, while I make most things sound average at best. At only €30 this is definitely worth a shot though! Great video as always 🤘

His ability to make everything sound great, while impressive, concerns me as well. He frequently uses an OwnHammer IR. I recently requested that we get to hear Presets with the Stock Cab so we can determine how much difference the IR is making.

@picksalot1 there are only stock cabs used in my ML Sound Lab videos

@@SonicDriveStudio I noticed that you did not mention using any IRs in this video, and as far as I can tell, you've be very consistent in pointing out whenever you fo use an IR. I really appreciate your attention to detail and pointing out everything you do in the Signal Chain, settings, etc. It's an important reason why I watch so many of your videos. 👍

Great vid, as always 👍 I was wondering if you considered making profiles of your amps for Neural Amp Modeler? I would gladly pay for a good quality captures of usable, quality tones (and yours are among the best I've ever heard on YT) 😊 Cheers!

That Laney sim is my favorite kind of heavy distortion. Engls and 6505s...Im not hating; I own a 6505+ head and I like it, but I find myself going to my "fake Plexi" (Bugera 1960) a lot more... Modern high gain amps sound a little too sterile and smooth sometimes.

Do you have a video on using plugins? I have a nice DI box I normally use for vocals.

interesting review.. all their amp simulation plug-ins kind of sound the same based on testing
@SonicDriveStudio11 ай бұрын
Interesting, they don't sound the same to me... not at all

I think you are not setting input gain on your interface correctly. There’s a video on KZbin by a guy called Ed S who explains how to correctly set input gain for electric guitars to work “properly” with most amp sim plugins. Just trust me, and try it once

You need to listen to Sabbath. You don't know where you are going if you don't know where you have been.

My thoughts are that "plugin" falls victim to overproduction... Its uncanny valley.. beauty is in imperfection 🤓🍻🤘

Never understood someone saying not being a Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd fan being a rock and metal lover. 😜 (don’t take personal) just saying 😅

I love Sabbath. Pink Floyd just sound boring to me. Maybe because I was never a stoner. I dunno but not my thing.

I like them both but I got to be in a specific mood for Pink Floyd.

@@JD-vj4go I remember getting into some intense arguments back in the 70s, because ppl thought I was wrong in the head for saying Pink Floyd really don't do much for me, and no lie, I remember specifically saying Black Sabbath were better than Pink Floyd. That blew people's minds, LMAO.
