Can we acknowledge how much hard work goes into doing a toddler's hair and look at how neat it is ....this woman is talented. Also girl don't worry about what weirdos on the internet be saying, there's always going to be somebody that dislikes something. No matter how you do your son's hair we can clearly see that he's loved and cared for. Great Job Mama

Beads are fine lol barrets and bow bows are crazy . They don’t understand beads keep the hair stretched as well so the braids don’t curl up

I remember guys wearing beads in they braids until high school. Some things just fall out n back into style. Depends on the style and size of the beads, I don’t think it’s girly

yalls first resort is always misogynoir. this has less to do with hair and more to do with these weird gender norms that black people as a whole have been holding onto. and these gender norms seep into every aspect of yalls lives, i.e., “boys can’t have beads in their hair” … so glad i’m a gay sociology major lol this kind of stuff is such a non issue in my personal life

In the 80s and 90s, boys 100% did not wear beeds. However, in 2024 men wear beeds, nail polish, weave, etc., so traditionally feminine things are more common on boys/men..
