I had one of the cats (Lyle) who fussed with the tree one year. Thing is we have had him since he was 5 mos. old. And he never bothered with it. Until he was about 3 years old. Don't what got into him that year. We just kept an eye out. And just told him NO and kinda redirected him and he stopped. Never did it again. We have had the same Artificial tree for years. (Allergies) No real tree. Bummer! Good to see things are going well on the Lucky Feral homestead.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 🌟🤰🚼🐑👼👑🐪🐪🐪🎁📯🎄🔔🎆💕

I have to say i like 'Oliver' a lot better than 'Ox'. It's sad that he's injured and i hope your neighbor is able to help him. It would be awesome if you could make it a joint effort. Cat's keep climbing the Christmastree. Where were those rescue people when you were dealing with the Lucky Seven?

I had contacted those rescue people when I was dealing with the Lucky Seven and they did not answer my email or voicemail message which I thought was unprofessional. The majority of the rescues that I contacted at least got back to me to say that they could not help. My neighbor down the street started volunteering for the rescue just after I had trapped all of the lucky seven. Unfortunately, all of the rescues and shelters around here have been completely full and overrun with cats since Covid.
