I'm about 2100 Elo on LiChess and what I noticed is that at the lower Elo levels, like when I was 1800 Elo and below, there was more cheating. The higher the Elo the less cheating IMO. But even at the 2000 plus Elo level, you can find people who win 20 games in a row then lose 20 games, which is clear evidence of cheating. I don't bother reporting them, I just block them. I pity the 1500 Elo players and below, since a lot of them are playing against bots.

I deleted my lichess account last year cause as a pure bullet player, i noticed that lichess was getting filled with cheaters and that nothing is done bout them. There are many different undetectable bots for bullet, the general idea of many of those bots is to flag you by the smallest of time margins while maintalning the game to equality. Soo when you start saying in the discord that you think at least 20 / 30% of bullet players are cheating, you get answered by lichess staff that you're just some crazy dude... Do this simple experiment : sign off your lichess account to play anonymously. Then start recording your screen for records and play lots of bullet games, your goal should be to play EVERY move as a premove from move 1. Requires skill, but you will quickly notice than anonymous bullet on lichess is just a freakin training ground for cheaters... And i don't think it is ever gonna change, because imho lichess staff is just a bunch of lazy dudes that prefer to say cheating doesnt exist or is small and we're crazy, than admit that everyone and their grandmaster is cheating in here unpunished.

The cheating method in this video is common, if you look up on KZbin how to cheat in online chess you will find videos about this method. Anti cheat is mostly aimed to find players with abnormally high accuracy. But by toggling the bot on and off in critical moments during every game you can maintain a normal level of accuracy while cheating. This ofc requires base chess skills (like not placing pieces on attacked squares) and knowledge of what positions are likely to be critical, since if you turn the bot on in a massive disadvantage it will take too many moves to recover your position and your accuracy goes up.

Please don't take online seriously. There may be underrated kids also so we can never tell who is cheating and whos is not. Even in otb kids over perform than the titled players. There is no way to tell if we moves are used by engine. U should look at the lines instead of moves .some lines which gives advantage are only find by engine. You can't completely avoid cheating in online. One day you may also get banned . If you look at good and bad moves

Starting at 5:05. Kh7 is even crazier to me than h6 just before that. Look at the position. Black has a rook h1 that you'd think could be more effectively placed, such as the engine's second and third best moves accomplish (Rd1 or Qe7+ which seeks to coordinate with the rook that way). But no. Instead black chooses to place his king on a light square when white has a light square bishop, in this position, for no obvious pressing reason, in seconds, in blitz.

Good luck with that. Now you can find extensions for your browser that embed a stockfish-light engine. It's customizable, so you can have it to play the 2nd or 3rd best move, usually not detected as . It can be set on-off at any time. It's a cat and mouse game, but it's becoming harder and harder detecting these cheaters. With new technos, a camera capturing your face (like in TT / Arena) could be a temp solution. But even then, AI is coming everywhere...

I don't wanna to boast but i found that player yesterday did a pack of his games seemed to be unnatural and sent to lichess. He was blocked this day

You sounded like a detective in the first half of the video.. I do agree that people have found way to cheat smart on lichess..I had someone from a group chat cheat against me by playing top engine moves for over 23-30 moves in a row he won from a losing position that i can confidently squeeze wins from GMs in that time control...I reported him but he was not banned. He actually cheated twice while playing against me. Also yesterday In daily hyperbullet someone played series of games with an average of 6 acpl and 98% accuracy in all his games.He was bragging about how the engine he was using used a tablebase of over 3 terabytes in the tournament chat room.We all reported him, lichess didn't respond quickly..He played in a 1hr tournament for about 40 mins+ before the admins banned him... i think moderators are now slacking lol..Something must be done.

​@@IMJonasPrado If you look at Ziromonody's lichess profile, it says he has a FIDE rating of 600. The probability of him defeating you in a fair game would be very low. Even if this information is not necessarily correct, it should still help to arouse enough suspicion in a lichess moderator to do a little research. Especially if someone has already made the effort to report this player. But apparently nothing happens.

There are so many cheaters on lichess! That's why I play classic games under 2 min and 960 under 3 min. Chess 960 5 min tournament: almost everyone cheats :-|

If you launch into an Asperger's-fueled investigation every time you suspect someone of cheating, you will spend more time on this nonsense than playing your own games. Take the loss and move on. Well, Rxb3 is the third move and if you look at Rxg3 it is very similar (you only have 1 second) and Rxb3 is the move that makes more sense. Then he plays all the best moves. You have 9 games to watch. If you are not able to see it I think you have a huge problem

If you ser the whole video what I say is that he plays by his own until some point that he thinks for 20 seconds and then he starts playing 1 st move. What he does in those 20 seconds is putting the position in the engine. If you are fast enough you can have the engine in the phone and you put the moves while your opponent is thinking and you see the lines and the variation or maybe he has two tabs in his computer, I don't know how he exactly does but can't you see that in the 9 games there is a point where we thinks 15-25 sec and then he starts playing the best moves. And actually this 9 games were played 48 hours ago it is not an investigation of all his games I am sure that if I keep investigating I would find much more. However I thought this evidence was enough. At this point I genuinely belive that if someone is blind is because they chose so.

@@IMJonasPrado the only part of the vid which seemed illogical/sus was the h6 kh7 thing. the rest seemed pretty logical. for example it makes sense to me to spend time at 11:35 since Bd4 followed by some Qb5/Qf5 can easily make you see ghosts, and it's good practice to double-check stuff anyway. Not saying he isn't cheating but I'm not sure why you made this video after less than 48 hours after these games. you could report him to lichess and then if after a week they still haven't banned him it makes sense to make a video but I don't see the point without first following standard procedure.
