Nah he can't regenerate his head, the other 2 did it since their will to live is so strong and refuses to die but the moment they lose that they started disintegrating, muzan has the highest level of regeneration since his a demon king and has the strongest will to live than any other character. Doma is emotionless and nihilistic so he never has any will to fight and live, therefore if he got his head decapitated he'll probably just accept it.

@@eldeuls1237 It's got nothing to do with will, Kokushibou and Akaza could do it due to their blood concentration, Doma being closer to Muzan than Akaza could also do it but he's the only one who can survive the after-effects, when Akaza got decapitated Muzan's control over him broke and he got flooded and couldn't handle the memories of his human life overflooding him, same with Kokushibou, Doma is the only one who can naturally survive decapitation all the way through as he remembers his human life and is apathetic.

@@TheCourtsOfLove I think will to fight/live is also a factor and not just blood concentration. kokushibou only regenerate his head when he refuse to lose and still want to win, but the moment he questions his way of living he started to disintegrate, akaza only stopped regenerating when he lose the will to live and wants to die. Demons can control how fast they regenerate and I think it's connected to their will to live/fight, akaza can regenerate his hands instantly since his will to fight needed his arms to do so. Doma actually has slower regeneration than akaza in my opinion probably because he never has any sense of danger, enjoys pain and was never serious and just wants to have fun. When kanao slice his guts while he licks his blood it took couple of seconds to regenerate and not instantenous

One of the reasons who Doma is so interesting is pretty much every demon in the series even Musan has some humanity to them and flaws that drove them to being demons. But Doma us just a pure monster from birth. In truth he's the only real demon of the series.

Daki and Gyutaro are somewhat tragic because they had the potential to be good people if circumstances had been kinder to them. Akaza was a broken human being who had the shittiest luck imaginable and had all of his sources of happiness and love ripped away from him, Kokushibo just wanted his parents and brother to acknowledge him. Akaza is so different from the rest though, before being a demon he was a truly kind and compassionate person, all he wanted was to be happily married with the woman that he loved.

The thing is, Douma, as horrible as he is, never was purposely evil or malicious. You can raise an argument for him that because of his parents and how they raised him, he missed crucial emotional developmental moments. But to say he’s the ABSOLUTE WORST isn’t fair. Douma as a human never murdered anyone & he genuinely THOUGHT he was doing something right for his cult. And according to the databook, at MOST, he was just a fraud and even dated female followers to try to feel something. He even felt SOMETHING for Kotoha (Inosuke’s mother) to the extent where he let her live up until she discovered his secret. But to say he was more of a monster than Muzan? Muzan was literally described in both databooks as being a horrible, horrible, person. In the 2nd databook, the author said that as a human he lacked empathy and human sensibilities-to the point he was more of an insect than human. Just when you think he couldn’t get any worse, it was revealed that he was so vile & abusive that he drove his 5 wives to commit suicide. That was all before he became a demon. The mangaka didn’t even describe Douma like that. But Muzan was so emphasized that he was pure evil and a sociopath from the beginning.

Because of this, many people are underestimating his strength and powers, saying that "he was weak because even Inosuke and Kanao beat him so easily. I'm fine if other people don't feel the same way I feel with Douma, but I totally can't ignore the fact they're underestimating and down grading him as an Upper Rank just because he was defeated by Kanao and Inosuke, even though the real reason he lost is because of Shinobu's lethal poison. People forget the fact that Douma killed Kanae before. Kanae is stronger than Shinobu and Mitsuri, and Douma easily damaged her sword, caused her fatal injuries, and killed her, but still nobody knew this and kept underestimating him.

Douma is my favorite demon. His appearance and personality is written so well I can't help but want to recreate it in my own writing. He's an interesting take on a psychopath, an unfeeling empty shell of a person who cannot feel empathy (though in Douma's case he cannot feel any emotion) but tries to mimic it, he's deluded himself into believing that he has a higher purpose to stave away the insecurity of if he can't feel anything, why does he exist? A very charismatic character who feels no connection between himself and humans because of the psychological differences. Most importantly, however is when his empty shell is revealed when his act is broken and the mask falls to the floor does he truly seem terrifying. He's holding nothing back, he looks at Kanao as if he has stepped on a bug and you can feel nothing but apathy coming from his expression.

Doma is my favourite demon in the entire series, second only to Tomioka. I like Doma because of his personality and also how little we know of him. Also because he's definitely the real demon of the series seeing has how both Akaza and Kokushibo were still unable to let go of their human pasts and how Muzan cares for other demons. Since Doma has no feelings and didn't care even after death, I find that to be a true demon.

Domas childhood was probably way more traumatic than it seemed. He was probably born with emotions but they corroded away, because of having to deal with his followers problems. He was also probably mentally abused by most around him, because nobody showed any true affection for/to him, especially at a young age because they rather treated him as a supernatural being. And his parents being brutally killed had no affect on him because he wasn’t “attached” to them and just didn’t care. I haven’t read the manga, but I know some who have and this is kind of what I’ve gathered. Also, he seems to associate Ivan’s hate with love and affection. *Assuming* his parents relationship, he probably thought that hate/ abuse was them showing feelings for each other and is probably why he fell in love with shinobu after they died, even though it was clear she hated him. Also would explain why he thinks Akaza is his friend

I always feel conflicted about Doma. On one hand yes he's a murderous psychopath to the point that not even his boss likes him, but on the other hand, he didn't choose to be devoid of all emotions and used as an object by his parents. He's without a doubt evil and deserved what he got, but the lack of emotions is such an integral part of his character and makes me wonder if he was really ever in control if that makes sense. Like if that one factor dictated what he would become and if it would allow him to be anything but evil

I will say Doma is nearly as bad as Muzan but Muzan is still more evil like Doma doesn’t fully understand right and wrong (if at all) and he does have that thing for Shinobu while Muzan fully understands right and wrong and doesn’t care about anyone Still amazing video and Doma is easily one of the best villains in the show

I think Doma is perhaps the most misunderstood deamon. He had everyone spilling their woes and desires at him since he was old enough to think, and that made him numb. He wasn't born evil, he's just a kid who found the internet way too early.

Shinobu's sister is so strong that she could 1v1 Douma from evening to dawn. That's very strong feats Even Shinobu got clapped by Douma in no more than 30 minutes. (I don't know how long time passed in the manga but it took not more than 1 ep. before Shinobu got her first big wound.)

He never loved inosuke's mother to him she was just something that was pretty and kind and he rather enjoyed that company. But in the grand scheme of things she was really nothing more than just fancy piece of artwork or decoration that he liked having around. When she finds out that he's a demon she tries to escape and because her spreading that knowledge would ruins what he's got going on he basically kills her no remorse no hesitation. It is pretty accurate to say that in his mind she was nothing more than a decoration piece nice to have around but he didn't have emotional interest in her. The only Canon person that he is felt any genuine emotion towards aka in love with has been Shinobu and even that was only really in the afterlife
