When you think about it; Kaigaku and his cowardly nature played a huge role in the whole story. If it wasnt for him, Gyomei might've never become a Hashira, in which case he wouldve never saved Kanae and Shinobu from a demon attack, and we would've never had our genius Insect Hashira (Happy Birthday btw). Therefore there wouldn't have been the proper drugs created by Tamayo and Shinobu, to destroy Muzan's cells. Furthermore, Zenitsu would've never had the push that he needed to overcome his cowardice and he wouldn't come close to his current strength.

I read the manga after S2 ended and it's been a while since I've seen s1. I thought Rengoku was just a bit smaller than Himejima, bigger than Uzui. Was surprised to learn that even Sanemi is taller than Rengoku and that Himejima is way taller. Rengoku's cape and hair made him look bigger.

All the original breathing styles that don’t branch off are taught by former masters. Like Zenitsu trainer and rengokus father and urodaki who all were former hashira of the original breaths
