I think your kit would work really well with a Sekhmet Digital Pressure Gauge. It would make everything even more precise.

Yes, will eventually get a digital gage for the reg. Will make everything more accurate and video's better. Do you have the Sekhmet gauge, what do you think of it?

Are you planning on offering the quick tune system in a black micrometer with white marks? This would look better on the gun and be easier for us older guys to see.

Lol!.......Yes it will be one of the features I will look at for the 2nd generation of tuners. White on black might be tough for the gage manufactures though. Thanks for commenting!

HI Phil good video , i recently purchased your quick tune system and here are the specs of my maverick .22, slug pin probe with 1/18 slug liner, slug being used 24 grain,2nd reg. pressure:130 bar ...target velocity :140, my question in your experience what reading should i dial on the micrometer to start with ? is there an emperical /rule of thumb , this may help me in reducing the check and correct method an reduce wastage of air and precious slug s : would appreciate yr reply thanx

I will eventually create tables for the various calibers, barrel lengths and hammer weights. Until then, you will have to use the method in the first video. Dial up to max hammer spring (between 3.5 and 4.0), work the regulator up to 15-25 FPS past your target velocity, then dial the hammer spring back to your target velocity. At 130 bar and hammer weight of 13 gram, you will probably end up between 4.0 and 5.0. Barrel length does make a difference. If you are using a brass hammer, I have had very inconsistent results with those (next video). Hope that helps!

How do you get tight groups ? Turn the hammer spring to max and adjust regulator to the speed you want to get to ?

I will have some pressure/HS adjustment tables for different weights in the next video. Long story short.....you have to know your target velocity, over dial the HS adjuster (enough to get max velocity for the pressure you have), aim for 15 fps above your target velocity and dial back to the target velocity. ​@@ShootingWithPhil2023old video but I'm catching up after buying your adjuster, waiting for it to ship. I've got the .25 heavy slug 700mm barrel (w/ carbon fiber sleeve epoxied on and a custom tension kit for the barrel holder) with slug kit. I added a washer to the hammer to make the flange a bit bigger and I'm running 185 / 161 (with Sekomet gauge on 2nd stage reg) and I've found that contrary to all the opinions on Diablo pellet speed, I get the best groups with the JSB 33's at 965. I like this speed because after looking at the ballistic tables I started zeroing at 85 yards. That makes me +-3" high at 50 and +-3" low at 100 yards so much easier to figure drop while hunting, if I'm off in distance estimate a bit the trajectory is always going to be less than the 3" max
