Gas is 3.39 at the bottom of rt90 and 281 in Homer. Cheapest in the area. Apparently you aren't trainable, if you won't pick up the stick! 😀

Really beautiful looks like such a big area for camping. Great work on video, and the drone must be fun. I met a woman the other day when we were hiking, she had a go pro, looks like a fun thing to have. We have walking sticks that are just that sticks, we found and we use for hiking, good for balance and steep spots.
@GoingNoWhereFast2 жыл бұрын
If you stick The right size screw on top you can set the GoPro on top of the stick and then use it as a mono pod to do video. It does a better job than most cell phones. I have had several wooden hiking sticks. Akela has no respect for them.
@susanpremo80682 жыл бұрын
@@GoingNoWhereFast oh yea, I'm sure she loves taking them from you, I forgot about that! When we're out walking and kids see us they just eyeball our sticks, one little girl asked if she could have one, I told her, her daddy was up ahead, that I bet her dad would get her one! He didn't seem very interested.

That road reminds me of the way into Cattaloochee state park. Really cool use of the drone. I'd be afraid of flying it into a branch or something while I was driving. Gas here in GA is at $3.29 a gallon for regular. I hear it'll be going a lot higher this year just like everything else. SOBs aren't satisfied with making a reasonable profit. They have to make a killing. Oh, well. Nothing we can do about it except pay what they want or go without. Geez, I'm getting overly cynical. Never used to be like that.
@GoingNoWhereFast2 жыл бұрын
Well, I know the gasoline companies are hurting. Their profits are only double this year. The CEO only makes $600 million. Poverty !! We need a government that will stop letting business rape consumers. ooow... I'm ranting... Never mind! Let's hang out in the forest !!
@solonutiket5642 жыл бұрын
Of course one of the reasons gas is higher, is because we voted for legislatures in state and federal offices which voted for the us to export our oil and gas. My natural gas is up too, because it is liquefied as LNG Why would be sell our limited resources around the world. When its gone, well that's it.

Wow. That was a gorgeous hike. The beautiful landing area at the bottom of the steep, green “path” was certainly great incentive for navigating it. Hopefully, it didn’t hurt (the climbing/descending part). So Akela is like GPS for water? Great video!

The camera angles are because I carry the camera on a little tripod and that is where is reaches too...lol. The Drone is the Mavic 2, The Mavic 3 just came out with better obstacle avoidance. $2300. Not sure I'm ready for that yet, I already have lost 2 of the Mavic 2's @ $1300 each
