I bought but haven't driven the cars yet. As for price, compared to iRacing, a bundle for this price is good value, but being able to buy tracks separately would be a nice option. Thanks for the preview.

I just gave every GT2 car a spin around the Red Bull Ring. Those kerbs around the Red Bull Ring want to destroy my Simucube 2 Pro the same way they tried to destroy F1 cars a couple of seasons ago. So I guess it's a very accurate recreation of the Red Bull Ring. lol

So glad LFM started a GT2 test series. Gonna do some races so they make it a series. Always missed the Gt4 ish handling on GT3 cars. Kudos to Kunos

Having 300+hrs in ACC ( and similar hrs in AC, AMS2, RR and rF2 I must say, the GT2 Cars in ACC are superfun. My favourite is the Maserati. Reminds me on the 1995s MC12..

I definitely agree with what you said about the GT2 Porsches, especially the 935 feels very soft and weird. KTM is definitely my favourite so far but yeah like you said, need some better setups before we can judge them too much

Everyone is testing the gt2 cars on redbullring, but the merc on tight tracks is a cow that refuses to recover from any weight transfer. And the porsche, as with all acc porsches are much slower on more standard tracks

I love ACC, but how do the GT2s drive? Do they also exhibit that floaty rear-end characteristic that the GT3s have?

I plan to buy the pack once I return from Daytona Rolex. I love the addition of the GT2 as well because of SRO starting to include them into the GT America series. I REALLY with ACC would include more American track options and create lobby and matchmaking, I feel if they did it would steal most of the market from IRACING. If they were to create online series mirroring real worl series currently going on by car class, track selection, and matchmaking…. They would destroy other labels. The single largest thing holding ACC back is the lobby structure.

I share a lot of your opinions on the shortfalls of ACC multiplayer & matchmaking. For what it's worth, Low Fuel Motorsport seems to have bridged the gap by integrating the best parts of iRacing's matchmaking into other sim platforms like ACC. Giving it a try this weekend.

the ktm is very crisp and nimble, easily my favorite, the mercedes tries to kill you and is way too tail happy for my liking

Thanks for the fair and unbiased review and the well produced video! I think the price is quite reasonable considering the content of the DLC. The added track is a nice one. I am not liking the GT2 cars on first impression - they have too much power and not enough grip, the handling doesn't feel balanced, and as delivered they are just not enjoyable to drive. This is very unlike the GT3/GT4 cars, which drive in a similar way to one another, one can learn the same techniques and setups on both, the GT4 cars are slower and thus on some tracks actually more enjoyable to drive.

If it wasnt for the Red Bull Ring the DLC would be considered a straight duud IMHO. The only car I feel that is really worth it straight out the box is the XBOW followed by the Maserati. The audi doesnt want to downshift. EHHH I dunno about this drop.

The only TC America car it looks like we'll get is already in the game, that being the M2 CS Racing. TC France is doubtful, and as for the Mustang and Corvette GT3s, there may be a slight chance for those to be added along with the updated Aston GT3

Plan was to wait, until I didn't. Pretty glad I bought it as the GT2s are very fun to drive. You can really man handle them and throw them around the track. I quite like watching these first impression videos as the impressions seem to be all over the place. I've seen AMG considered so bad that it's broken and the all the way to your favorite. Maserati seems OP on some channels and you question whether it is even competitive (granted on bigger tracks). I only drove these on RB ring, but Maserati was way ahead of the pack there with AMG being solid second. Really didn't like the Porsches which is unfortunate considering how they were the most highlighted cars of the DLC.

Gt4 couldn't compete with Gt3. Gt2 can so I'd imagine the pack will be 30/70 split after a few weeks. I was really looking forward to making the Brabham my main but 😢

ACC is by far my least played sim. There’s just nothing about it that isn’t done better by another sim, and the track and car selection is just a snooze fest. The online racing is full of bad tempered a-holes and tryhard wreckers. Nords is about the only thing that would get me to bite at this point. They should shutter it and focus on AC2.

@@SuperCasey98 Yes and no. The GT3 teams are admittedly customer teams, but they are teams and are run as businesses and have a heavy reliance on sponsorship. The GT2 class is essentially rich private individuals which run with a modicum of sponsorship.

I’m still wondering why ACC hasn’t updated SPA CATALUNYA and ZANDVOORT yet!?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Why they bring an expensive pack with just one track and with ACC 2 around the corner (if you can believe the rumors) is just strange. Wet tyre model could use some aprovement, windshield wipers could have a look at. No, buy a complete car pack for just 1 track you want 🥱
