Is the Mercedes AMG a cheat? ACC META secret

Okay so there's a reason the Mercedes is strong in ACC, and it's actually because of LFM Balance of Performance. Lemme explain: LFM BoP is made from the times on their hotlap servers (as well as AOR's), with the fastest lap time in each car being used to create the BoP. The theory behind it is that the fastest drivers will BoP the cars for everyone to enjoy a balanced game. For the Mercedes, it's a bit of a mess to drive at the elite level, and very few can get the maximum from it - Only 2 elite-level esports teams even dare touch it: Williams Esports and Unicorns of Love. What WE and UoL have realised is that 1. They are the fastest drivers in the Merc in ACC by a comfy margin, and 2. The BoP is only made from the hotlap server times. As such, WE and UoL drivers don't do laps on LFM/AOR hotlap servers in the Merc, or if they do they sandbag it to get it favourable BoP. Why else do you think the gap at the front is so big? Grantas, Nils and George are far from slowpokes, and Merc's lock out the top 4 places so far in LFM's Virtual Endurance Masters season (4x P1's, 2x 1-2's and 1x 1-2-3 across 4 races). The Merc isn't OP in ACC, rather WE and UoL are gaming LFM's BoP system to make it so.

Yes, BoP can be manipulated. And the way is exactly what you mentioned. But let's also not forget how good Daire actually is. The next Mercedes was almost 0.5s behind him. That's a big margin. Another thing I'd like to point out is that the Mercedes can really abuse curbs like the chicane and gain quite a bit in Watkins Glen compared to other cars

@@SimKris Daire is probably the fastest in the Merc, BUT that doesn't take away from the fact that BoPs are made to nerf *the best* driver in each car to be practically equal. Yes the Merc can abuse the kerbs at Watkins better than most, but that gives lap time so it should result in more BoP. For example, kerb compliance is crucial at Zolder. In LFM 1.9.5 BoP, the Merc had the most weight at Zolder out of any car, and it also happened to be where the Merc was at its heaviest across all tracks.

Thanks. Well coming from the M4 I feel the AMG is a step up but that's relative to each person's taste. But what I can say is that the Mercedes sounds in-game like in real life. Heard it myself
