Cool video! Those planes were pretty neat. I bet that is one hobby that is more expensive than ham radio. Lol Thanks for sharing your adventures!

I love airshows! This one might have been more impressive as the controller was outside of the cockpit!

Yeah they were. I was impressed. (But this is near an air force base, so that's also reassuring)

Those RC planes look pretty cool haha, I'd be afraid I'd crash one if I had a go at flying myself

When that yellow plane took off and did a barrel roll just above the ground, I thought it was an accident, and wasn't going to end well. Obviously, it was an experienced pilot who fooled me!

Gas engine in an RC 'plane, something of a novelty in the modern era, most RC flyers have gone electric with LiPo battery and brushless motors.
@livingforalivingRV2 ай бұрын
I wonder which is better. They didn't have any big battery planes.
@g4lmn-ron2 ай бұрын
@@livingforalivingRV Power to weight ratio on a gas engine is much better, but for ease of use, electric wins. Gas engine is noisy and the nitro fuel is expensive. Pick your compromise.
@livingforalivingRV2 ай бұрын
@@g4lmn-ron That makes sense. Usually small electric motors don't have the same amounts of power as big electric motors.

An Alamogordo video right after I hear Russia reacted by using for the first time ever an ICBM in war. Are we having fun yet is a good question.
