These jokes would be fine on HBO in 2024. VEEP is hilarious.

What I can’t believe is when the woman started crying Furlong seemed to feel bad and backtracked. I guess there may be a drop of humanity left in him 😂

I’m from Scotland and we had a show written by the same guy who did Veep, Armando Iannucci, and it was called The Thick Of It. It had a Scottish guy called Malcolm Tucker, (Peter Capaldi) and if you want a non-woke giggle, have a look at clips from that. Brilliant!

Who would win a gross insult contest, Jeff Kane or Roger Furlong? Tough call.

These jokes would be fine today, it’s a dark satire about US politics, it hasn’t changed too much, so this satire would still be useful to see. He, and everyone in the show, is a huge PoS mostly. So yea, stop acting like horrible and explicit characters are somehow no longer allowed or something, weirdo

One of the best bits in theVeep finale, was seeing Roger pushing Will's wheelchair at Selena's funeral... and still showering his pal/lackey with insults. It was funny, BUT in a very weird way it was kind of poignant. How the hell did the Veep writers do that?
