I joined VEEP, as a 66-year-old Londoner, completely by accident, and have binged watched the last 4 final series.. Armando Iannucci sure has THe Midas Touch and Veep is outstanding. The characters and dialogue are incredible but I had to watch most episodes twice as it is so fast-paced and layered that it;s easy to miss stuff. I finished 2 hours ago and not ashamed to admit I wiped away a tear, which, rarely, happens but I won't spoil it, my friend but watch to Series 7 Episode 7 Finale...

When Will stated that he worked for Furlong since he was 15. I think Will is Furlong son. Think about it before Furlong married his Jesus loving wife he had an affair with Will's mom. Will knows he's Furlong's son, but doesn't tell him. But works for him so he can be close to his dad. That's why he takes the abuse and at the end Furlong is pushing Will in a wheelchair. That's Furlong way of showing somewhat love or feeling towards Will. Just my take on them. Love the show since the beginning. ❤❤❤

+Callum Lyall : Malcolm would eat him up...somehow, the Ianucci magic in dialogues and characters doesn't really work for me in Veep. It sounds fake, forced in US context. Unless its just me, given the show's success. But I felt same for the US version of The Office, it couldn't compare with the UK's though most people here in US liked it just fine.

While I like both versions, I can understand why someone who loves the UK version of the office wouldn't like the UK one. THe UK one is far more depressing, and more cringey(which works for it). Also, David Brent is an awful person, which Michael is a good guy underneath. I like the US one more but the UK one is better. As for the thick of it, haven't seen it. I've seen parts of the 1st episode. I saw the IN the loop which is amazing, but Veep is pretty good too. Don't know what I accomplished here.
