04 Impala SS owner (indy 500) i felt the same way when i got my SS a month and a half ago (From this post) i love my car and i least expected to get it! Got laid off in april (in the news lol) lost my GMC yukon Denali 06 and my ex got engaed lol. WHen i had got mine i fell in love and havent looked back since!!. Best wishes from a fellow SS boi!💪

@@TheGearShiftGurus your post was definitely out before I got mine but I was looking into them ! I live out in California and I see a lot of the 9th gen impalas out here mostly beat up though! (Your body style) I wanted the GXP lol but I was wor about the transmissions at that time but I can’t complain about the 3800! I’ve been mostly doing regularly maintenance but I want a second car haha

Going to get my 08 impala V8 today it’s lit I had a red Camaro white rally stripes in 2017 to 2021 then I got a BMW 328i sport but never had a V8 it’s lit this afternoon 💯💪🏽😤✅

I am currently working on a 2006 Impala SS that I picked up for $2500, mostly suspension stuff thus far. But it has a list of things it needs. I picked it up as a fast fun ride in contrast to my other vehicle, which is my off-roader, a 2006 Hummer H3 Lux/Adventure.

I had a ltz now im going to get a ss and swap the trans out wirh a 4t80e and add hot cams for a meaner chop, might add a super charger and i will be loving life then.
