Hey, I have a chevy impala LT 2011 3.5. I've done everything to it and was deciding to get the 5.3 ss but I was wondering if you can tell me about how good and reliable it is. I know the 4t65e transmission originally in the impalas are terrible but if possible, what transmission can bolt on to it?

8:28 Make sure the new front bumper is specifically made for the SS model. If you think the regular ones will fit because they are a bit cheaper well, you'll be surprised to hear they don't. Don't let me say I told you so, 😅

If a bolt breaks in the block drill out the bolt in the middle of it. That’s what I did in my Silverado with a Ls at 165k miles, when I put in long tube headers they were a bitch to fit in the 4x4 was also on e85 had a flex fuel tune.

Got a 2008 impala ss perfect no cap. From 1 owner in the military that doesn’t drive it much. Has everything except a sunroof. It’s white and has some chipping on the front other wise got a moms corvette with a lot of space for 6k 80k miles in Washington Belling ham. Bro was cool because I was young and wrote the private party sale as 4k to not seem sus but to also give me tax discounts when registering the car. Saved me 600k he is old and never drove the car much. I have 3rd gear slipping at 50 not low on transmission fluid rip might need a new clutch soon what should I do if my gear is slipping. ( goes from 2k to high 2k rpm when shifting other shifts are less noticeable almost seems like the car is revving with no power for a split second at 50 mph otherwise perfect. Had to replace an ac accumulator because my car was making a loud clicking from the passenger side behind the glove compartment.
