I’m a retired ER nurse. We used disposable suture kits. Instead of throwing out the instruments, we would wash and sterilize them. Lots of tiny scissors and hemostats for turning fabric RIGHT side out. Just a pet peeve of mine. I’ve got the magnetic bowl, a very large T square ruler for straight lines. Storage boxes for sm items, all from HF. 😊

I have been a Harbor Freight fan for quite some time! I like cutting those tie-down ratchet straps apart for the 1” webbing because of the price (and while they do not necessarily make great ratchet straps for their intended purpose, the webbing is legit). I have an entire set of travel bags a/k/a sturdy shopping totes which I made from HF painter’s canvas with that kind of webbing as handles. I even have their grommets on the gussets of my bags! I showed a HF clerk my shopping bag one day and she was going to go home and dust off her sewing machine to make some. I am not often a quilter, but I am a sewist and an avid crafter, so I grab paracord, painters tape, and all sorts of things while I am there. 💞

I had a cart similar to yours that is pulled up staircases. I learned quickly that the laundry basket had to be wrapped horizontally to keep it from falling off. I also suggest that you get a bin big enough to put your supply boxes in. That will keep your equipment clean and safe. It will also keep them dry. I don't quilt, nor do I have a dedicated sewing room. I use a fishing tackle box. My small items can be easily organized. I also have a steel door that I use it to hang various papers on. A steel plate attached to a wooden door or wall could be used for projects. I keep a hammer, a wooden block, a expanding magnet, and pair of needle nose pliers in my sewing kit. They come in handy.

Your earlier video inspired me to buy the US General 5 draw mechanics cart in white. I was hooked. During their Black Friday/Christmas sale I bought the 9 drawer Yukon in white… the mechanics cart is my embroidery station. Machine easily sits on top and I can still access the area under the cover. The Yukon is dedicated to my sewing and quilting items….i cross border shopped these from the US back to Canada. I was only charged GST coming back into Canada. The Harbour freight store is 30 mins from my home in Canada. I was able to put the mechanics cart and Yukon easily into the back of my SUV at the same time. The prices starting around Black Friday were cheaper with the exchange than anything locally in Canada. Not sure why your magnetic bar wasn’t working. The US General brand magnetic accessories stick no problem.

I love red! It is my favorite color!!!! How do you like it?
@ConnieAcree10 ай бұрын
I love it. It has wonderful different options for organizing my supplies. I also got the magnetic hooks. I also bought a carpenter square for working with quilts.@@thesimplequilter7499

Anyone who is Canadian? Princess Auto! I did a quick search and they have many items like Harbour Freight. They may not be pretty like some items but they sure are reasonably priced. Hubby and I are planning a shopping run soon!

Your Harbor Freight must be much better than mine…I went there and found absolutely nothing but 3 tiny brushes to clean my sewing machine. You always seem to get good stuff.
