I have always liked to tinker... but I have always easily got intimated when taking stuff apart. (Fear of not being able to put it back together again.) The eye lights hack is so weird. The GI bare wires should have run there just like the rest. I am thinking the eyes had some special way of being powered. I wonder if the blinking bulbs there is factory. Can't wait for the next one.

Do you think maybe the wire stub on the 1000's point relay was supposed to run the the eyes lights so they would flash every time you scored a 1000?

Hi Ron, love the content. I had an interesting coincidence happen last Saturday. I went to our state fair (MN) and a vendor was selling arcade games and virtual pinball machines. Their display virtual pinball machine was set up to play Abra Ca Dabra. I thought, how cool is that, I am watching a restoration of the original and here is the modern reproduction. Keep up the great content.

Ronnie, I dont know how you're able to tell the colors on those old wires, and all the color matching you do. Now don't go being modest and saying it's just experience. I want to know what eyeball exercises you do. 🤣 Did you take art classes to learn that color wheel stuff? I've always wanted to ask. I'm just an art challenged computer geek, unable to draw stick🦴 figures never mind coloring. 😉
