More Historic Wooden Escalators at Macy's, New York City NY

Here are some more Antique Otis Type L Wooden escalators at Macy's Herald Square in New York City. These escalators are some of the best escalators in the world considering they are made out of wood and were installed in the 1920s. Sadly as of earlier this year (2024), Schindler is completely replacing them as parts for these beauties are getting harder to find and preserving them nowadays would be much more difficult than its worth.
